We plan to be at an exhibition and need some hand-out thing!' Exhibition materials need to be something special. If your prospect customer has been walking around in the Cebit warmth for four hours she doesn't want still another brochure. She wants something else.
The important thing is to make the customer remain in your stand and in that situation give-aways work much better than brochures. You reserve the company brochure, perhaps spiced-up with a special exhibition offer, for other customers that really show a genuine interest in your company. The obvious question you should ask yourself is: What's the purpose with the hand-outs or give-aways I distribute at the exhibition?
